We have an urgent need for an Employment & Labor Associate in our San Francisco or Palo Alto office.
The ideal candidate will have top academic credentials with 3 – 5 years of experience in:
providing high level counsel to clients on employment law compliance issues
litigating trade secret/employee mobility, whistleblower (SOX, Dodd Frank), and high stakes single plaintiff employment actions
advising on employment aspects of M&A transactions
defending against employment-related class actions, including wage and hour class actions (class opposition strategy, fact development, briefing)
Strong writing and client advice and relations skills, as well as the demonstrated ability to manage litigation on a day-to-day basis; draft and argue substantive briefs and motions; and take depositions with limited supervision are required.
